Police have no answers yet in fatal accident: Bainbridge Blotter

Schergalis, pronounced dead at the scene, was riding his motorcycle southbound on Chillicothe Road as a Bainbridge woman, 61, was turning from the northbound lane onto the US-422 west ramp. Her name has not been released.
The Valley Enforcement Group is investigating the 10:50 a.m. June 1 two-vehicle accident that took the life of a Adam Schergalis, 19 of Bainbridge. Schergalis, pronounced dead at the scene, was riding his motorcycle southbound on Chillicothe Road as a Bainbridge woman, 61, was turning from the northbound lane onto the US-422 west ramp. Her name has not been released. No charges have been filed pending the investigation.

I am glad you posted this. . . heard she kept saying how late she was to a graduation event. . .people react unpredictably when there is this level of accident. . we all have had near misses. . . she has to live with this the rest of her life. . . no matter what. .

I did not witness the accident right when it happened but I did see that young man lying there. It was terrible, he wasn't moving and the woman who hit him looked terribly annoyed, not shaken or scared but very very annoyed. She didn't even see if he was ok and I didnt see a phone in her hand. When I read that he did in fact die my heart broke and seeing that woman's reaction was just awful. It may have been shock, maybe she forgot her phone, maybe she was afraid to look but she looked like she was getting impatient.
