Zachary Manns 13, killed, Grayson Manns 4, and mother Kristy Stone 36, slightly injured after their car slid on icy roadway into on-coming vehicle driven by F.D. Easterday 75, who was seriously injured.

A 13-year-old Circleville boy died in a crash on icy roads in Pickaway County early yesterday. Zachary Manns was a passenger in his mother’s car when it slid on icy roads at 8:08 a.m. on a curve on Stoutsville Pike in Washington Township, east of Circleville. His mother, 36-year-old Kristy Stone, was driving eastbound when the car slid and she went left of center, said the commander of the Circleville Post of the State Highway Patrol. Stone’s Grand Prix was hit by a westbound Geo Tracker driven by F.D. Easterday, 75, of Stoutsville. Manns was taken to Berger Hospital in Circleville and died a few hours later, Neal said. His brother, 4-year-old Grayson Manns, and Stone were both treated at Berger Hospital for minor injuries and released. Easterday was taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus and was listed in serious condition this morning.
