Columbus police say a man lost control of his Chevrolet Venture on Interstate 71 just before 11 p.m. Friday, struck a concrete wall on the left side of the southbound lanes and then drove northbound in the southbound lanes without headlights.

A man was driving a Chevrolet southbound on I-71 when he lost control and hit a concrete wall. The man then drove northbound in the southbound lanes and hit a Volvo tractor trailer head-on. The Chevrolet then finally hit a Ford Escape, ejecting the man and his female passenger, Kellee Hendricks, from the car.

Police said Williams was going fast down I-71 southbound, lost control, hit a concrete wall, went into the wrong lane and hit two other vehicles.
