Driver killed when van hits stopped semi
There were no skid marks or any signs the van’s driver tried to stop, leading authorities to believe the driver was looking down or didn’t notice the stopped semi. Authorities did say they don’t believe the driver was traveling much fasted than the posted speed limit, which is 65 mph in the area.
UPDATE: Victim in fatal I-75 crash identified
The victim in the fatal crash on Interstate 75 has been identified as Dale Schumaker, 65, of Huber Heights by the Montgomery County Coroners office.
