Andrew Bloomfield, 27, of Galion, and his friend Elizabeth Shelton, 26, of Bucyrus, died and Ruth Driskill, 37 of Galion and driver Timothy Tebbe sustained critical injuries Sunday when their truck left Antrim Township Highway 135 near Upper Sandusky in Ohio. Bloomfield and Driskill had just been married and had just left the reception with Shelton and Tebbe. Tebbe was driving northbound when he lost control, hit an embankment, rolled, hit a utility pole continued to roll, coming to a stop in a cornfield. Shelton and Bloomfield were ejected during the accident. Driskill and Tebbe had to be freed from the truck by rescuers. Shelton was pronounced dead at the scene. Bloomfield was airlifted to St. Rita's Hospital in Lima, where he later passed. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but alcohol may have been a factor. Investigators don't believe anyone was wearing a seat belt.
