Fitorus Ruan, 19, killed when struck by Dylan McCoy, 19, on Highway 10 east of Miami, OK

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Springdale, Arkansas teen was killed when he was hit by a car on Highway 10 east of Miami early Saturday. Troopers said the crash happened between 3:30 and 3:45 a.m. in Ottawa County. The OHP report stated a 2008 Honda driven by Dylan McCoy, 19, of Miami was changing lanes when he looked back to check for traffic and struck something. He assumed it was a deer and continued home. McCoy's father checked the car for damage later in daylight and notified an off-duty OHP trooper about the collision. Troopers stated the pedestrian, Fitorus Ruan, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.
