Oklahoma man dies after collision in Ellis County

About 12:20 p.m., Louis Andrew Crouch, 80, of Arnett, was driving a pickup south on U.S. Highway 283 about a mile south of Arnett. Crouch was making a left turn when his pickup was struck by a northbound pickup on the highway, troopers said.

A man died Sunday after a two-vehicle collision in Ellis County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 12:20 p.m., Louis Andrew Crouch, 80, of Arnett, was driving a pickup south on U.S. Highway 283 about a mile south of Arnett. Crouch was making a left turn when his pickup was struck by a northbound pickup on the highway, troopers said.

Crouch, who was wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. The other driver, who also was wearing a seat belt, was not injured, troopers said.
