Girl, 17, dies in Kay County crash, Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports

BLACKWELL '€” A 17-year-old girl from Braman died Monday in a crash three miles south of Blackwell just north of Hubbard Road, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. The pickup flipped end over end, landing on its top. A pickup driven by a 17-year-old boy from Tonkawa was traveling north on S 29 Street when the pickup went off the road and hit a mailbox. Seat belts were not in use, according to the patrol. Neither the driver nor the passenger's name was released.
