Two Killed, Two Injured In Grady County Collision
Troopers asked motorists to avoid the area as they investigated the crash. Traffic was being diverted around southbound at County Road 1280 and northbound at County Road 1310.
UPDATE: Fatal crash reported in Grady County, Oklahoma Friday morning on U.S. 81
U.S. 81 was closed for about four hours at the scene while troopers investigated the crash.
A car containing for people approached the intersection of Highway 81 and County Road 1290 at about 4:40am, but the driver, identified as Woosypitti, did not stop at the stop sign, and collided with a southbound semi-truck on Highway 81. Two passengers in the car, Seymour Jr. and Ahton, were dead at the scene, and Woosypitti and a third passenger, Seymour III, were hospitalized with critical injuries. No one in the car was wearing a seat belt. The truck driver was not hurt.
