According to the accident report provided by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the incident occurred just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of OK-73 and 40th Street when while driving a 2007 Volkswagon, 79-year-old Charles Wayne Pool of Clinton apparently had a medical condition which caused him to depart the roadway to the left, go off an embankment and come to rest on its wheels.
