An Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report states that a Toyota Sienna and a 2021 Ford F-250 were involved in a collision shortly after 3 p.m. at the intersection of Route 66 North and State Highway 34 about three miles west of Elk City in Beckham County.

OHP has identified the driver of the van as 43-year-old Jose Paxtor-Oxlaj. He has since been released from the hospital and taken into custody.
