Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say 39-year-old Malcolm Penney was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the turnpike when he hit Murrow's vehicle.

Oklahoma man pleads guilty to murder in wrong-way crash

This week, Penney pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and no contest to leaving the scene of a fatal accident. His sentencing is set for Jan. 18.
