One of the bicyclists was taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was pronounced dead. The Shawnee Police Department identified the victim as Jason Hanks, 48.

“It just, it just happened so fast,” said Baker.
Baker said was riding with his friend, Jason Hanks, along Highway 3 in Shawnee when a car came out of nowhere.

“It would be nice to turn yourself in, you know, we’d ask for leniency on you. It’d just be nice to be able to close the situation there,” said Cindy Hanks.
