Gniech was driving a pickup east on State Highway 1 about five miles west of Talahina in Latimer County when he ran off the road about 2:40 p.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said.
Stephen Gniech, 59, of Heavener was driving a pickup east on State Highway 1 about five miles west of Talahina in Latimer County when he ran off the road about 2:40 p.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said.
The pickup rolled once. Gniech was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
