Dayton Beard, 21, killed, Shirley McGee and Jesse Jackson, 22, injured and Nicole Bryer, 21, critically injured on US Highway 60 in Nowata County, OK

Shortly before 4:00am, a car driven by McGee with Beard and Bryer as passengers crossed into the oncoming lane while taking a curve and struck a car driven by Jackson head-on. Beard suffered brutal injuries and died at the scene, Bryer was hospitalized with critical leg and head injuries, Jackson sustained leg and head injuries but has been treated and released, and McGee sustained only leg injuries and has also been released. Investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
