A passenger in the Honda, 20-year-old Amanda L. Scott of Pryor, was taken by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital. She is said to be stable with leg, arm and other injuries.
Oklahoma woman dies after head-on collision
A Chouteau woman died Saturday night after her car was struck by a motorist traveling the wrong direction down State Highway 20 in Mayes County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
A Chouteau woman died when her vehicle was hit by a motorist driving the wrong direction down State Highway 20 just east of Pryor. Kendra Lee Gonzalez, 20, was pronounced deceased at the crash site, shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday night. Her car was hit head-on by Derlin Lara, 31, of Tulsa, who was driving westbound in the eastbound lane of the highway. A passenger traveling with Gonzalez was transported to a local hospital for multiple injuries and is listed in stable condition.
