For unknown reasons, a 2006 Dodge that he was driving east on Oklahoma 20 about one mile east of U.S. 169 crossed the center line and struck a westbound pickup about 8:45 a.m., trooper Dwight Durant said.
Nesvold, who was pinned in his vehicle about 45 minutes, died at the scene.
