Driver Dead In Collision With Disabled Vehicle In Sand Springs
Troopers say a driver is dead in a collision with a disabled van on the shoulder of eastbound Highway 412 in Sand Springs. The wreck took place near the exit to 81st West Avenue.
Authorities Identify Sand Springs Man Killed In Highway 412 Wreck
Terry Lee Burns, 58, was eastbound near Adams Road when he left the roadway and struck a van parked on the shoulder. The van was disabled with one wheel removed and on a jack.
A driver was killed when their car left the road and struck a van that was on the shoulder of Highway 412 near the 81st West Avenue Exit. No one was in the van at the time. Troopers are investigating factors that lead to the crash. More information will be posted as it is released.

I was driving on 412 west and
I was driving on 412 west and am not familiar with the area, when it looked like the car came from the bar ditch, flipped and landed near the parked van??? I had never seen an accident before but saw all the cars heading east that had seen the entire thing, and am sure they stopped. I am sorry for the loss of Mr. Burns.
