Tulsa Patrol Officer Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Crossing South Lewis
A Tulsa police officer was involved in an auto-pedestrian crash that killed a man early Sunday morning in the 5900 block of South Lewis Avenue.
Tulsa Police Release Name Of Officer Involved In Fatality Wreck
Officer Ryan Melchior, 28, was driving on Lewis Avenue near 61st Street when his patrol car struck James Moore of Tulsa. Moore, 43, died of his injuries.
James Moore, a pedestrian, died of his injuries after being struck by Ryan Melchior, a police officer in Tulsa. The investigation has found no wrongdoing on the part of Melchoir thus far but it is still under investigation.
