Friday, August 7, 2015A 17-year-old Tulsa girl died and several others were injured in a single-vehicle crash in west Tulsa Friday morning at 1:30 a.m., when a Nissan Maxima carrying six occupants was heading westbound on West 61st Street near Elwood Avenue at high speed before swerving off the road and crashing. Crystal Magana was ejected from the vehicle, and was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Jevon McCorkle, 18, of Tulsa, the driver of the vehicle, was taken to Saint Francis Hospital. The other passenger ejected in the crash is also being treated at Saint Francis Hospital. The remaining passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

i met jevon this year, almost
i met jevon this year, almost 5 years after this crash. he regrets it alot. but i will say he is a different person bevause of this. i know first hand what her parents felt when they got the call they they lost thier child. i lost mine. it takes alot to firgive someone but i hope they read comment one day because he is very sorry and i know that they were very close. jevon said that night all he remembers is having fun then the next minute loosing control of the car then nothing till he woke up in the hospital. i know he still has nightmares over it. but more then anything i know he wishes he could go back to that night and just have stayed home. i send my condolences to the family, and i wish them nothing but peace.
