One woman killed in accident on I-44.

Audrey Rose Wichman died after the car in which she was a passenger went off the roadway.

An Iowa woman died after an accident in Craig County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Audrey Rose Wichman, 81, died after the car in which she was a passenger went off the roadway. The car, driven by Leonard Clem Wichman, 81, of Dubuque, Iowa, was driving eastbound on Interstate 44 about 2:55 p.m. Tuesday. The car crossed all the lanes of traffic and hit the median wall and the guard rail, troopers said.

The Wichmans, who were wearing seat belts, were taken to a Miami, OK, hospital, where Audry Wichman died. Leonard Wichman was admitted in the hospital in good condition, troopers said.
