One dead in Oklahoma crash

A man died in an Oklahoma crash on Thursday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. George Thayer, 75, of Wagoner, died in a collision about 2:10 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 69 about 2.4 miles south of Wagoner, patrol reported. Thayer, who was dead at the scene, was driving a pickup south on U.S. 69 behind a tractor with flashers on when the pickup was struck from the rear by a truck driven by Richard Stanley, 60, of Latham, Ill.
