Edward Kelly Spangler, 43, killed, after he was found shot in a SUV at the scene of an accident in Clackamas County.

Police identified a man who died after he was shot and crashed his car Sunday morning.

Around 5 a.m., 43-year-old Edward Kelly Spangler of Grants Pass died in the 200 block of South Locust Street, according to Chief Brett Smith with Canby police.

Officers arrived to find citizens performing CPR on Spangler, who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police stated later Sunday morning that the man had suffered a gunshot wound but did not provide further details.
