Teens hospitalized after crash

Three teenage girls were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Lake Oswego Friday night, police said. One of them was still hospitalized Monday evening.

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. -- Lake Oswego High School students went back to class Monday with grief counselors and staff on hand to help after a car crash Friday sent several of their classmates to the hospital.
Two of the three girls involved in the crash were still at Oregon Health & Science University Monday afternoon. The 17-year-old girl was in critical condition, her friend, the 16-year-old driver, was in fair condition.
Lake Oswego police were still investigating how the crash happened, and said it could be a few more weeks until the accident report is finalized.

Police don't think drugs or alcohol played a part. They were investigating whether everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
