Lamar Jaray Hart, 30, killed, after his vehicle crashes into a power pole near the North Interstate Avenue MAX tracks in Portland.

A man was found dead Sunday morning after his vehicle crashed into a power pole along the Interstate MAX tracks. He was identified Monday as 30-year-old Lamar Jaray Hart. Shortly before 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning, police found a man dead inside his vehicle after it crashed into a pole along the MAX tracks at North Interstate Avenue near Tillamook Street, police said. Hart was the lone occupant of the vehicle and investigators think he may have been speeding before the crash. Crews cleared the vehicle from the tracks before MAX service began. The Oregon State Medical Examiner is awaiting toxicology reports to determine if drugs and or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
