One person dies in crash on Hwy 99W

TIGARD, Ore. '€“ One person died in a crash between a car and a motorcycle in Tigard on Thursday afternoon, police said. Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue said crash occurred on Highway 99W at Southwest Walnut Street. Police asked drivers to avoid the area. One lane was open in both directions.

William Tyrone Cummings, 57, of Tigard, collided with a vehicle that was attempting to make a left turn onto Walnut Street from Pacific Highway just after 3 p.m., according to investigators.
