Preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford Focus, operated by Maria Egoroff (71) of Salem, was southbound and turned left, into a private driveway, in front of a northbound Suzuki motorcycle operated by Jeffrey Garza (40) of Woodburn.

Troopers said they were called to Highway 99E near milepost 39, which is south of Gervais, at around 7 p.m. Sunday evening.
