"This time of year, people are going to be hauling bigger articles, like Christmas trees in backs of cars," Lt. Michael McLaughlin said. "The operator of the vehicle, whether it's a car, a truck, or either one of those hauling a trailer, is responsible for the load in the vehicle."

An unsecrued mattress fell from a trailer, causing Allen Dozier to swerve and crash into a concrete median. Four of the five people in his car were injured and transported to a medical center in Hershey. Two of the people injured were children. The driver that caused the accident, 49-year-old Douglas Campbell, turned himself into police Monday.
