Manheim Township police said the driver turned a pickup truck left on Hew Holland Avenue and went into the path of another vehicle at 5:43 a.m. Monday. The Lancaster man who struck the pickup was transported to a hospital for treatment of a minor injury. He told police that the pickup driver got out and used an expletive, but then drove away without leaving any information.

The pedestrian said the driver was about 40 years old with short blonde hair. The vehicle was an orange 1980s model Chevrolet or Ford truck. Damage from the accident to the passenger door should be visible. Anyone with information is asked to call Manheim Township police at 717-569-6401.
