State Police said 69-year-old David E. Cunningham was operating his backhoe on his property on Schoolhouse Road in Londonderry Township. He lost control and the backhoe went down an embankment at about 2:20 p.m.
Dauphin County man killed when tractor overturns
State Police say that Cunningham was operating a backhoe on his property when he lost control. The backhoe slide down an embankment and overturned pinning Cunningham. The Middletown Fire Department and the South Central EMS responded to the scene.
David E. Cunningham was operating a backhoe on his own property on Schoolhouse Road when he lost control of the machine and it went down an embankment. The machine pinned him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. No other details are available at this time.
