Scott M. Stettler, 33, crashes into house while evading arrest in North Londonderry Township, Pennsylvania

Police: Fleeing driver crashed into 2 homes near Palmyra

North Londonderry Township police said 33-year-old Scott M. Stettler, of Spring Brook Township, Lackawanna County, drove through four backyards before severely damaging the homes in the 400 block of Sweetwater Drive. Stetler had been stopped for a traffic violation in the first block of South Railroad Street in Palmyra but fled the scene. Officers were following him when he lost control in the 400 block of Campbelltown Road and crashed into the homes at around 4:12 a.m., police said in a news release. Residents said the speeding sedan plowed through three fences, clipped one house and went airborne before colliding with the second home. 
Charges are pending against Scott Stettler after he struck two Lebanon County homes while fleeing police. After crashing through the wall of a home, Stettler was transported to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
