Troopers said a pickup truck hit a vehicle in the parking lot, pinning a man and a woman between the vehicle and a gas pump.

Troopers said the pickup driver, 49-year-old Michael Carter, fled after the crash. He was arrested and charged with offenses that include aggravated assault by vehicle and accidents involving death or personal injury.
