A man died Friday after his motorcycle collided with a car in Westmoreland County, a supervisor with the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office said.

The fatal crash occurred on Route 30 in North Huntingdon at approximately 3 p.m. Robert Hyland, 69, of Fairchance, Fayette County, was pronounced deceased at Forbes Regional Hospital shortly after the crash. An autopsy is scheduled for today. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
