Central Valley High School senior killed in motorcycle-car crash in Potter Township

Mendicino said Barbuto was traveling with a group of students who were in cars when he lost control of his motorcycle. Barbuto was one of 182 seniors set to graduate June 6.

A Central Valley High School student died after a motorcycle and a car collided on Memorial Day in Potter Township, Beaver County.

The fatal accident on Raccoon Creek Road was reported at about 7:50 p.m. Monday. The coroner's office identified the victim as John Barbuto, 18, of Center Township.

We opened up the auditorium and we probably had 250 people here last night," Central Valley High School assistant principal Anthony Mendicino said Tuesday. "A lot of students, a lot of his friends, his family was here, his mom, dad and siblings."
