Beth Ann Morris killed in car accident on St. Route 30.

A 40-year-old woman was killed early this morning in a single-car crash in Bedford County, state police said. Beth Ann Morris was driving east on state Route 30 at Mount Dallas Road in Snake Spring Township when she lost control and struck a rock embankment at about 3:16 a.m., a news release said. Ms. Morris, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained severe head injuries and was taken to UPMC Bedford Memorial, where she was pronounced dead. The cause of the crash is under investigation and state police at the Bedford station could not say Sunday evening where Ms. Morris lived or provide other details.
