The 26-year-old motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was tossed 10 feet down an embankment in the 7:25 p.m. collision a half-mile north of Indian Creek Road, according to emergency radio reports.

Gerald Achey Jr., 27, of the 1800 block of Levering Place, was pronounced dead at the crash scene at Brookside Road, south of Radnor Drive, the Lehigh County coroner's office said.

"He had a real caring personality; he was like the big brother I never had," Kulp, whose five years younger than Achey, said. "He was basically that 'go to' guy whenever you needed advice."
