Pedestrian Struck By SEPTA Train In Old City.

According to SEPTA, a pedestrian was struck by a train late Thursday morning.

The incident occurred at 5th and Market Streets on the Market/Frankford Line by the 5th Street station exit.
The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.

Emergency personnel and police are all on the scene of the accident.

Around noon, SEPTA released the following statement: Normal train service has resumed on SEPTA’s Market-Frankford Line. A person was removed from the track area at 5th Street Station westbound and taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
