A witness told police the victim was riding the bicycle going west on Adams, crossing the Boulevard, when he was hit by a pick-up truck. Police say the striking vehicle was a white and blue truck, believed to be a Ford F-150.

Yomar Rivera, 17, was riding a mountain bike in the northbound lanes of the Boulevard at Adams Avenue around 7:30 p.m. when he was struck by a white or blue Ford F-150. The vehicle then fled the scene.
