Man Dead After Overnight Hit And Run In Port Richmond, Police Say

A 41-year-old man is dead after Philadelphia police he was hit by a car in Port Richmond that fled the scene. This happened at 12:20 a.m. Friday near Cedar and Westmoreland Streets.

Police say a verbal dispute broke out before the driver of a white Cadillac SUV intentionally hit 40-year-old Jason Panas and his 28-year-old friend.
