Pedestrian killed by pickup in West Nottingham

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call state police at 610-268-2022. The state police were assisted by the Chester County Coroner’s Office, the Union Fire Company, Rising Sun EMS and Chew’s Towing. 
A 20-year-old Oxford man died Tuesday night after he was hit by a pickup truck while walking on Route 272 in West Nottingham. Jacob Elijah Faust was wearing dark colored clothing and walking in the middle of the road when he was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup around 10:30 p.m. south of Lee’s Bridge Road. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The vehicle was driven by 66-year-old James Birdie Fanning, of Nottingham. No charges were filed yet. Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call state police at 610-268-2022.
