A 27-year-old driver was killed Thursday morning when his car crashed into a parked tractor-trailer on Interstate 79 southbound in Washington County.
A 27-year-old driver was killed Thursday morning when his car crashed into a parked tractor-trailer on Interstate 79 southbound in Washington County. The crash happened about 9:45 a.m. near the Marianna/Prosperity exit in Amwell Township. A Toyota sedan went off the snow-covered road at a bend and crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer that was parked at the exit, according to a new release from the Washington County coroner. The driver of the sedan, identified as Jonathan Silko, 27, of Pittsburgh, died from blunt force trauma to the head, the coroner said.
