Peter Cindric Jr. killed in single car accident.

A 37-year-old man was killed Monday night in a vehicle accident in Indiana County.

Peter Cindric Jr., of Young, was driving a PT Cruiser northeast on Park Drive in Clarksburg around 9:30 p.m. when the vehicle crossed into the other lane, hit a utility pole and flipped on its roof, according to a press release from the Indiana County Chief Deputy Coroner.

Mr. Cindric was not wearing a seatbelt, the press release said, and was partially ejected through the sunroof. He died of injuries to the head and chest.

Pennsylvania State Police from the Indiana Barracks also investigated the crash, which was ruled an accident. Personnel from LifeStat Ambulance Service and the Iselin and Saltsburg fire departments helped at the scene.
