Jesse Boyd, 22, killed, 21-year-old passenger injured, taken to hospital, after their car collides with a pickup at an intersection near Burrell Township.

A 22-year-old driver has died from his injuries after a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Indiana County. State police said Jesse Boyd was driving a Saturn Ion north on Route 119 when a GMC Sierra pickup truck that was traveling south crossed in front of him while turning onto Dean Drive just before 4 p.m. On Tuesday, police confirmed Boyd had died from his injuries. A 21-year-old passenger in Boyd's car suffered moderate injuries, police said. His condition was not immediately available Tuesday. The 27-year-old driver of the GMC was not injured. Police are investigating and have not yet said if charges will be filed.
