A Beaver County man died Sunday afternoon in Beaver County after the backhoe he was driving went off of the road and overturned, according to state police.
Fatal backhoe accident reported in Beaver County
Emergency responders in Beaver County confirmed the operator of a backhoe was killed in an accident in Greene Township.
David K. Cooper was driving a backhoe on McCleary Road when the machine veered onto the grass shoulder and hit a wooden post, then overturned. Cooper was partially thrown from the backhoe when it fell on its side. He sustained fatal injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
