Rhode Island State Police are identifying victims of a wrong-way crash on Interstate 95 in Pawtucket that killed one woman.
Police said on Saturday that 27-year-old Sheng Zhou, of Riverside, suffered fatal injuries during the early-morning crash on Friday. She was a passenger in the SUV hit by the wrong-way driver and died in hospital about an hour after the crash.
Police identified the wrong-way driver as Estefani Almanzar, of Providence. She was alone in the car and remains in critical condition.
The SUV driver was identified as 30-yer-old Weiming Chien of Riverside. He is in stable condition. His front-seat passenger was identified as 20-year-old Jean Liu of Providence. She is also in stable condition.
Police say are still investigating the crash and no charges have been filed.
