12 high school students on school bus hospitalized after car strikes driver's side of school bus on James Island, SC

12 students injured in school bus accident on James Island(link is external)

According to police at the scene, the school bus was traveling on Dills Bluff when a car entered the intersection without stopping and struck the school bus on the driver's side. 

Though 12 students were taken to the Medical University of South Carolina and to St. Francis Hospital, there were around 31 students total on the bus.
