Coroner: 6-year-old and mother involved in fatal Andrews crash

The accident occurred on North Morgan street near Tony’s Pizza at 6:20 a.m., according to online information from the SCHP. A Kenworth log truck and trailer collided with a Chevy Malibu after the Malibu crossed the center line. The Georgetown County Coroner said Erica was driving North on Morgan Avenue and crossed the center line hitting the log truck head on. Two people in the Chevy Malibu died and both were wearing a seat belt. The driver of the log truck was not injured, according to SCHP.
