1 dead after crash on I-95 in Colleton County
Officials with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say one person was killed in a crash that happened on I-95 near mile marker 49 in Colleton County Sunday morning.
Lance Cpl. Judd Jones with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened at around 9:45 a.m. when a 2016 Chevrolet truck traveling north on I-95 collided with a 2004 Volvo SUV also traveling north.
The SUV ran off the road and struck a tree, Jones said.
