According to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, a fatal motorcycle crash occurred in the Ladson area early Saturday morning.

Michael Austin Moody of Charleston died at the scene. The coroner's office reports the 20-year-old died as a result of injuries he sustained during the crash. Officials report he was wearing a helmet.
