The driver of the Hyundai that first made contact with motorcycle fled the scene, according to Highway Patrol. Investigators say the vehicle likely has damage to its right rear, including a missing bumper cover.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office says David "Ritchie" Harris, of Bonneau is wanted connection to the incident, which happened Tuesday night around 11:30 p.m. on S.C. Hwy 402 outside the town of Moncks Corner.
